Sunburn could cause irritation with waxing. Please inform our technician if you are using any skin thinning products (i.e. Retin-A, Accutane, etc.).

You may experience skin irritation for 2 to 3 days, if your skin is prone to irritation or if it is your first wax. You can speed the process along by exfoliating the areas waxed. The hair growth must be ¼" to ½" long (usually 3-4 weeks of growth). The first wax is liable to not be as smooth as you desire because hair grows at different stages. Only after waxing several times (depending on the individual), will the hair begin to come out all together.
